TSK Personnel Killed in Fatal Traffic Accident
A 26-year-old man, Sefa Akgönül, lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred around midnight on the Bostancı-Taşpınar main road.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, Akgönül was driving a vehicle with license plate FC 069 toward Taşpınar when he lost control of the steering. The vehicle veered off the southern side of the road, struck an embankment, collided with a garden fence, and overturned.
Akgönül sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. It was later confirmed that he was a member of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
