Three Seriously Injured in Violent Dispute in Kyrenia
A dispute over noise in the stairwell of an apartment building in Kyrenia early this morning ended with three people seriously injured in a stabbing. The suspect, G.B. (50), who was found to have 161 milligrams of alcohol in his system, was arrested.
According to a police statement, the intoxicated suspect used an illegally possessed knife to seriously wound A.B.T. (21) in the abdomen and left leg, H.T. (50) in the waist, and E.H.H. (21) in the abdomen.
The injured were taken by ambulance to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia for treatment. The suspect remains in custody.
