PM Üstel: Suspect Confessed in Kıb-Tek Explosion; Investigation Continues
During the opening of the Dr. Engin Arkan Değirmenlik Health Center, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel made statements regarding Kıb-Tek.
Üstel said: “Before the explosion in Güneşköy, Kıb-Tek was targeted in attacks. The explosion occurred after these attacks. The computer systems contain all information, including who lives at which address and the locations of transformer stations. I thank our police and the general manager. The arrested individual confessed, saying ‘I did it.’
An investigative team, established from Kıb-Tek and brought from the Republic of Turkey, continues the inquiry.”
Speaking about fires, Üstel added: “We banned lighting fires, yet a fire broke out in Ciklos. Areas with high-voltage lines will be cleared. With new reinforcement, all potential fire zones will be quickly cleaned.”
