Finance Ministry to Borrow ₺3.1 Billion Through Domestic Debt Auction
The Central Bank has announced the details of the Treasury’s upcoming domestic borrowing auctions, scheduled for August 25. According to the statement, the Finance Ministry will borrow a total of 20 million US dollars, 25 million euros, and 20 million British pounds.
The Treasury will convert the borrowed foreign currency into Turkish lira through swap operations, bringing the total borrowing amount to approximately ₺3.126 billion.
The auctions will be conducted via the Domestic Government Debt Securities (DIBS) platform, with participation open to individuals and institutions through intermediary banks.
