Denktaş: Election Security Concerns Mostly Resolved
Founder of the Tam Party, Serdar Denktaş, has announced that most of his concerns regarding election security have been addressed following a meeting with Supreme Court President Bertan Özerdağ.
Denktaş, in a social media statement, said the meeting was held at Özerdağ’s invitation after he had previously raised doubts about the vote-counting process. He described the discussion as “highly productive” and expressed gratitude to Özerdağ for clarifying how potential objections would be handled.
Earlier, Denktaş had voiced concerns on Kıbrıs Postası TV, noting that while votes are observed at the ballot box, the Supreme Election Board system could be vulnerable to software manipulation. He also highlighted the impossibility of independent auditing and stressed the need for the opposition to preemptively raise objections and ensure that results are properly recorded in the system.
