Üstel Declares 2025 “Year of Youth,” Pledges Continued Path with Tatar
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has announced 2025 as the “Year of Youth,” highlighting his government’s initiatives for young people.
In a social media post, Üstel outlined projects including gym and hospital constructions, social housing, the “My First Home” loan program, completion of rural land infrastructure, the transition to 4.5G, fiber-optic investments, and 1,600 job openings.
Üstel emphasized support for youth, entrepreneurs, and production, and stressed the importance of stability, stating: “The architect of stability is the UBP; we move forward resolutely on the path of a sovereign and equal two-state solution for the peace of Turkish Cypriots. We continue this path with the defender of this vision, our President Ersin Tatar.”
