The defendants—Andreas Kypriano, Annia Kypriano, Niki Geogoria, Antonis Lourol, and Gregory Geogoria—appeared again before the Military Court today. Presiding Judge Tutku Candaş ordered the adjournment after one defendant required medical attention.

Background:

On July 19, G.G. (66) allegedly entered the TRNC via the Akyar Kara Border Gate in Gazimağusa without completing immigration procedures, driving a vehicle in a restricted military zone. The other passengers and driver—A.K. (60), A.K. (60), N.G. (63), and A.L. (68)—were subsequently arrested.

The defendants remain charged with breaching the Personal Data Protection Law and causing public disturbance.
