Üstel: Presidential Election Is a Destiny Choice
UBP General Chairman and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel emphasized the importance of the upcoming presidential election during a meeting in Kyrenia, calling for unity and stressing that “now is not the time for grudges or quarrels.”
He described the vote as a decisive choice that will shape the country’s future and the prospects of the younger generation, highlighting that the correct path is aligned with the Motherland, Turkey.
Üstel highlighted the government’s achievements since taking office, noting that all promises have been fulfilled and numerous projects successfully implemented. He underlined that political stability has been secured, strong ties with Turkey maintained, and public investments—from infrastructure to health, agriculture to tourism—delivered effectively.
Pointing to the October 19 election as a critical juncture, Üstel urged citizens to prioritize unity over division, stating, “On one side are those defending the state, on the other those advocating a federation. We believe the right path is the one with the Motherland, Turkey. This is a destiny-defining election.”
