Tufan Erhürman Submits Presidential Candidacy

Tufan Erhürman, leader of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) and presidential candidate, officially submitted his candidacy to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) today, accompanied by hundreds of supporters.

The march to the YSK saw participation from citizens across different political backgrounds, including members of CTP and the Communal Democracy Party (TDP), as well as women, youth, parliamentarians, and mayors.
Speaking after the submission, Erhürman said, “We have submitted our candidacy to start a new era together. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter; may it be beneficial for all of us.” He emphasized inclusivity, adding, “Regardless of party affiliation, we will continue to win hearts for the sake of our children.”
Erhürman also highlighted the work ahead, stating, “We have much to do and a long road to walk. This country and its people will take pride in themselves, their nation, and their institutions once again. Together, we will move forward and succeed.”
Supporters at the event chanted slogans such as “Our voice, our word, Tufan Erhürman” and “President Tufan Erhürman.”
