Erkut Şahali: We Take Ballot Security Very Seriously
Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Secretary General Erkut Şahali stated that ballot security is a top priority, and that necessary measures are being implemented for this election. He dismissed claims that Tufan Erhürman’s victory would harm relations with Turkey as a manipulation campaign.
Speaking on Kanal T’s Güne Dair program hosted by Nazar Erişkin, Şahali addressed questions about the election process.
Accusing President Ersin Tatar of lacking impartiality, Şahali said, “At times, Mr. Tatar has acted entirely like a member of the National Unity Party (UBP). He has completed his presidential term without doing anything that benefits the Turkish Cypriot community.”
