CAMPAIGN PERIOD BEGINS TOMORROW

During the campaign period, political parties and independent candidates will be allowed to put up posters, distribute flyers, and hand out printed materials. However, after 18:00 on the day before the election, no printed material of a propaganda nature — including announcements, manifestos, circulars, and open letters — may be distributed, posted, or sold.

Sample ballot papers and brochures prepared by the Supreme Election Council may be distributed at any time.

Posters, flyers, and other campaign materials may not display the Turkish Flag, TRNC Flag, religious symbols, or texts written in Arabic script.

Posters for political parties and independent presidential candidates must be placed in locations designated by the District Election Boards in towns and cities, and by the village councils in rural areas. Equal space will be allocated to all political parties and independent candidates who request it. Parties and candidates are free to post campaign materials inside their own vehicles and on the interior of windows, doors, and other private property.

Posting or displaying materials outside of the designated locations is prohibited.
