Ertuğruloğlu Meets DiCarlo and Bayramov in New York
Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov as part of his contacts in New York.
Ertuğruloğlu, who is in New York for the 80th UN General Assembly meetings, held talks with DiCarlo at UN headquarters, where he discussed recent developments on the Cyprus issue and conveyed the position of the Turkish Cypriot side.
As part of his visit, Ertuğruloğlu also met with Bayramov at Azerbaijan’s Permanent Mission to the UN. The two ministers discussed regional issues and TRNC-Azerbaijan relations, and Ertuğruloğlu briefed his counterpart on the latest developments concerning Cyprus.
Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Mustafa Lakadamyalı, Advisor Selen Süheyla Küçük, and Third Secretary Begüm Tuncalı also attended the meetings.
