Aktunç: We Will Use Our Budget Most Efficiently to Promote TRNC in Europe

Undersecretary of the TRNC Ministry of Tourism, Serhan Aktunç, unveiled an extensive promotional plan covering 2025 and 2026, emphasizing that this is the most detailed and structured campaign to date.

“We are presenting what we have done and what we plan to do with full transparency. We will continue to share information with concrete figures,” Aktunç said.

According to the announced program, the promotional campaign, which began in March 2025 and will run through November, is being conducted under the ADA Cyprus brand in Turkey. Key components include:

  • Cinema advertisements in cities with direct flights from Turkey

  • TV commercials on national channels

  • Digital and social media campaigns

  • History, nature, and gastronomy content featuring Turkey’s leading influencers

For the European market, the focus will shift to the VisitNCY brand. In the United Kingdom, the campaign will include digital communications, influencer promotions, and a collaboration with Ajet offering £250 round-trip flight incentives.

Aktunç noted, “Throughout 2025, there will be intensive promotion in both Turkey and the UK. Preparations for 2026 are ongoing. While the ADA Cyprus brand continues at full speed, we will use our budget most efficiently for the European market.”
