Scattered Showers Expected Over Three Days

From tonight until Thursday, scattered showers are expected across the country, with winds occasionally reaching strong levels and turning stormy on Thursday, the Meteorology Department reported. Maximum temperatures are forecast to range between 26 and 29 degrees Celsius in both inland and coastal areas.

According to the Meteorology Department’s weekly forecast covering 7–13 October, the region will generally be influenced by a low-pressure system, bringing warm and relatively humid conditions. On rainy days, cooler and more humid air masses from the upper atmosphere are expected to affect the area.
Tonight through Thursday, intermittent showers are anticipated, while the rest of the week is expected to be partly cloudy or mostly clear. Winds will generally blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong, and on Thursday, stormy gusts are possible in some areas.
