Tatar at TDT Summit: TRNC Will Always Stand with Azerbaijan
President Ersin Tatar, speaking at the 12th Summit of the Turkic Council in Gebele, Azerbaijan, highlighted the Karabakh Victory as a symbol of solidarity and brotherhood within the Turkic world, stressing that shared history and spiritual ties will ensure future peace and prosperity.
Addressing the summit, Tatar thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for hosting the event, saying, “We all share the same history, the same epics, and the same cultural heritage. These common roots are the strongest spiritual bonds that connect us.”
Tatar noted the significance of the summit coinciding with the fifth anniversary of the Karabakh Victory, describing it as “a triumph of justice, unity of the people and their leadership, and a symbol of the unwavering solidarity and brotherhood of the Turkic world.”
Emphasizing that the TRNC will always stand alongside Azerbaijan, Tatar stated that these shared historical and spiritual ties strengthen cooperation, adding, “We believe this collaboration will evolve into a strategic partnership and a shared future. I am confident that our unity and mutual trust will guarantee peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.”
