Erhürman Elected 6th President With 62.76% of the Vote

According to data released by the Supreme Election Board (YSK), Republican Turkish Party (CTP) candidate Tufan Erhürman has officially been elected as the 6th President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), securing 87,137 votes, or 62.76% of the total.

Ersin Tatar received 49,650 votes (35.76%), while the independent and Communist Party of Cyprus (KSP) candidates collectively gained around 1.5% of the vote.

The YSK statement detailed the full results as follows:

  • Arif Salih Kırdağ (Independent): 458 votes (0.33%)

  • Ahmet Boran (Independent): 198 votes (0.14%)

  • Mehmet Hasgüler (Independent): 300 votes (0.22%)

  • İbrahim Yazıcı (Independent): 331 votes (0.24%)

  • Hüseyin Gürlek (Independent): 322 votes (0.23%)

  • Osman Zorba (KSP): 443 votes (0.32%)
