Taçoy: “UBP Has Never Been and Will Never Be a Party Ruled by Fear”
UBP Deputy Hasan Taçoy made a notable statement regarding recent developments within the party following the presidential elections. Taçoy highlighted that the post-election debates and disagreements reflected a serious internal crisis.
He said, “Rather than listening to criticisms and learning from them, seeking to hold those who voice them accountable is contrary to UBP’s democratic tradition.”
Taçoy also sharply criticized the recent classification of statements made by UBP Deputy İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra as a disciplinary offense. He stated, “This is completely contrary to the democratic understanding of our party and our country. The validity of the criticisms made is clear.”
