4.5 Kilos of Cannabis Seized in ‘Sun-Rise Operation’
Authorities in Yeniboğaziçi seized 4.5 kilograms of suspected cannabis in a police operation, leading to the arrest of one individual.
According to the Police Press Office, on 28 November 2025, the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Department carried out the “Sun-Rise Operation” at a residence in Yeniboğaziçi. During the search, 28-year-old E.P.’s residence was found to contain a total of 4.5 kilograms of suspected cannabis, which was collected as evidence.
E.P. was subsequently taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
