Driver Dies In Traffic Accident On Ulukışla Village Road
According to information provided by the Police Press Office, a traffic accident occurred at 10.25 on 18 December 2025 on the Ulukışla village road.
The vehicle with registration number MU 366, driven by Gizem Gümüşsoy (F-21), was travelling from east to west when the driver lost control of the steering wheel while approaching a right-hand bend, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway to the left and collide with a tree.
The driver, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Famagusta State Hospital, where she died despite all medical interventions.
The investigation is continuing.
