Speaking live on BRT from the floor of parliament, Incirli made a series of strong statements on the economy, governance and the government’s future.

Incirli said the government is taking the country into 2026 with a deficit of TL 26 billion and an enormous interest burden. “This budget is a document showing that people will be left without medicine, children without schools and roads without maintenance. As soon as the budget talks end, we will take to the streets with civil society to demand early elections,” she said.

“Corruption Has Reached A Peak, Keeping The Government In Power Is Harmful To The Country”

Stressing that the 2026 budget is a “budget of deprivation”, Incirli said the government has borrowed relentlessly and that the interest burden is now being placed on the public.

“This budget means disrupted public services. It means no medicine in hospitals, no classrooms in schools and no asphalt on the roads. The public can no longer carry this burden,” she said.

The CTP leader said corruption, bribery and decay in the country have reached levels that can no longer be concealed. “How does a country collapse? It collapses when there is corruption and when resources are squandered. Every day this government remains in power, it damages our institutions and our resources. They should not stay a single day longer,” she said.

“What Difference Does Changing Ministers Make? The Mindset Must Change”

Commenting on speculation about a cabinet reshuffle or government changes, Incirli said replacing ministers would not solve the problem.

“They can remove any minister they want and appoint another, but nothing will change unless the mindset changes. What is needed is not a reshuffle but a complete transformation. The government is pursuing its own agenda and has no concern for the people’s problems,” she said.

“Post-Budget Mobilisation: Elections In The First Quarter Of 2026”

Incirli said the opposition would step up its efforts after the budget talks are completed. “We will take our strong parliamentary opposition to the streets. By engaging with trade unions, civil society organisations and economic groups, we will turn the demand for early elections into a social wave. Our goal is to take the people to the polls in the first quarter of 2026,” she said.
